Description
Thyroid disorders are conditions that affect the function of the thyroid gland, which produces hormones that regulate the body’s metabolism and energy. The main disorders include hypothyroidism (underactive
thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), as well as goiter, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer.
Acupuncture treatments based on microanatomical knowledge along with CTM diagnosis allow for accurate diagnostic and treatment, achieving the best and most efficient results.
Course Objective
1. Knows the microanatomy of thyroid’s innervation.
2. Knows the thyroid disorder’s etiology, pathology in Western and CTM.
3. Differentiation and diagnostics for Thyroid disorders in Western and CTM.
4. Treatments with Acupuncture.
5. Results and clinical investigation.
