John Cassone, DAOM, PhD, LAc, Diplo OM

Dr. Cassone started his career over three decades ago as an athletic trainer. He owned and operated a gym for twenty years during which time he completed his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Nutrition. He opened his private practice in 2004, focusing on nutrition, then completed his MSAOM and DAOM. He currently teaches nutrition part time at South Baylo University and sees patients at his office.

Course Name: Digestive Health through Clinical Nutrition

Course Objective: Participants will learn common conditions of the digestive system, the pathomechanisms, and treatment strategies using clinical nutrition.

  • Common digestive ailments
  • Physiology and pathophysiology of the digestive system

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the cause of common digestive disorders and increase positive outcomes through adding clinical nutrition in addition to herbal medicines and acupuncture.
